Saville Studios provides all materials for all classes; advanced students may bring their own brushes if they prefer.
Many ask if they can drop in to an art class, and our answer is always yes! You do have a pay per class option if you would like to pay in person, however, we encourage all artists to commit to a monthly basis to be able to continue projects with the class.
We encourage students ages 9+ to take both Painting and Drawing classes, therefore, a combo rate is offered for both classes at a rate of $25 per week.
Preschool Class
Ages 3-5
$5 per class
30 minutes
Taught as a mommy-and-me style class, preschoolers have fun playing with paint and other media. Many parents ask when the appropriate age to start class is. If your child can sit in a chair by themselves and hold a pencil correctly, it’s time to introduce art at the studio!

Budding Artists
Ages 4-6 (Must be 4 by January 1st, 2012)

45 minutes
Young artists are introduced to many mediums of art, including pastel, painting, clay, drawing in an encouraging and fun environment!

Intro to Art
Ages 5-8 (Must be 5 by January 1st, 2012)

Students begin to develop drawing skills, color theory, and painting technique in creative projects. Many media will be introduced through the year, including oil pastels, watercolor, clay, line drawing, etc.

Cartooning and Animation
Professional Mike Dillard teaches basic figure drawing for humans and animals in a creative environment. Each student develops technique and skills needed for higher education in art.

Art for Ages 9-13

Students are introduced to several different mediums as they complete professional level projects. This class is highly recommended for middleschool students seeking art education, but unsure of which medium to pursue. Oils, watercolors, pastels, line drawing, clay, sculpture, just to name a few.

Students are introduced to several different mediums as they complete professional level projects. This class is highly recommended for highschool students seeking art education and improving their portfolio for college entry.
Painting Technique Classes
$20 per class
Heavy emphasis on Oil and Watercolor. Professional grade paints, brushes, and canvas for serious students. Can be taken alongside drawing classes. Discounted price applies when attending both classes.

For our most serious students. Students must submit 4-6 completed works for review. Emphasis on painting. Class size limited to 6 students.

Adults are re-introduced to fine arts, with access to watercolor, oils, acrylics, and dry media. Technical instruction provided to develop skills needed to start and finish beautiful pieces of art. Studio provides all materials, student provides brushes (studio can provide brushes upon request)
